HOW KIAM CHIN AUTO SERVICE SDN BHD (Formerly known as Oriental Auto Services Keningau) is a Private Limited Company and began operation since 1st July, 1988.
HOW KIAM CHIN AUTO SERVICE SDN BHD started as a small motor repair and services outlet. During the timber boom in the district of Keningau, it began to establish long term business with several timber companies in the district to carry out repairs and services to their vehicles comprising four wheel drives and logging trucks. Skilled mechanics, car body panel beaters and spray painters were then employed to cope with the increased number of vehicles requiring repairs and/or general maintenance.
However, following the recent downturn of the economy affecting the whole country, the district of Keningau was not spared. Timber companies were greatly affected and some had to shut down. However, the establishment continues to provide auto repair services and assist in Insurance claims for several other companies and individuals in the district.
